Tryouts & Season Commitment

• Tryout Dates: August 10–12 (must attend all 3 days) - team decisions made on the 12th.

• Parents Meeting: We will have a players/parents/guardians meeting on August 13 after practice.

• Schedule: Once tryouts conclude, please plan for a game or practice every weekday after school August 13 through October 27.

• Post-Season: Varsity may qualify for playoffs in early November; we encourage the entire program (all three teams) to remain involved and supportive during this time.

Tryouts Eligibility

Around July, the school will reach out to you with an invitation to register for fall sports. Two things must be completed before a player can step on the court for tryouts:

• CHSAA Physical Form: You must use the specific CHSAA physical template - no other forms will be accepted by the school.

• Registration & Payment: Completed via Arbiter Sports, sports physical will be uploaded here. About a 20 minute online process including contact info, medical history, insurance, payment, etc.

Note: We are required to turn away any athlete missing these two items on Day 1 of tryouts. We are flexible with student who we have to turn away, but ask that they complete the steps before the 2nd day of tryouts, so they can participate in the majority of the sessions. Please plan ahead to ensure your player is cleared!

Pre-Season Opportunities

We highly encourage incoming players to join us for these summer events to get a head start and meet the team:

• Summer Open Gyms: These are weekly, optional practices starting the first week of summer. Reach out for more information.

• Team Camp (June 17–18): 2-day camp ($40/athlete) in partnership with former DI volleyball players. You can register here.
